Our goal at GFP Events (GFP) is to deliver products and services to our customers that provide
satisfaction and meet their expectations. The objective of this Policy is to detail how an exchange,
replacement, credit or complete refund can be sought if a product or service provided by GFP:
• has a significant problem / quality issue or is believed faulty.
• is unsafe.
• is significantly different from what was described for purchase; or
• a product or service remains undelivered.
Due to the nature of digital photography, GFP has a limited no refunds policy* on the purchase of digital
images. Once a digital photography transaction has been completed (i.e., the customer has selected
and paid for an image or product, GFP has sent the buyer the correct image; and the buyer has received
the image, the transaction is considered non-refundable.)
*Except in the case of damaged goods, substandard quality issues or undelivered products or services.
How to Return Your GFP Purchase - Faulty / Damaged-in-Transit Returns
If your product remains undelivered fourteen (14) days after your purchase transaction or you believe
an item(s) you have purchased is faulty or substandard, or has been damaged in-transit, you must:
• Contact GFP’s Customer Service Team
• Provide proof of purchase*
• If damaged in-transit, provide evidence of how the item was received (i.e. an image of the items
packaging taken the day of receipt).
*Proof of purchase may be your original receipt, credit card statement or any other form of evidence
that provides a clear record of the associated transaction with GFP.
GFP will exchange items identified as faulty, substandard, or damaged in-transit free of charge, including
any reasonable associated postal costs. GFP reserves the right to decline an exchange, replacement,
credit or refund where any product issue is caused by misuse or neglect.
Customers seeking an exchange, replacement, credit or refund must contact GFP to make their initial
request within 30 days of the purchase transaction date.
• Requests for exchange, replacement, credit or refund made after 30 days will be approved at
the discretion of GFP.
• Approved refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) business days of the refund request.
• Refunds can only be paid in the same tender as the original purchase or refunded to the account
used to pay for the item (in the case of a 60-day business account holder)
Return of Hired Academic Dress Items and Sets
Hired academic dress items and sets must be returned to GFP within 2 hours of the graduation
ceremony the hirer attended. Academic dress items and sets not returned to GFP within this timeframe,
unless previously arranged, may attract a penalty fee of $30.00 (including GST) for each day the
academic dress items or sets remain outstanding. Academic dress items and sets hired from GFP remain
the property of GFP at all times.
